The lakes

This is our secret spot, the place we only show our friends. Restaurants right on the water’s edge, ducks not all wild, reeds swaying in the wind. L’étang noir and l’étang blanc are freshwater ponds and natural spaces to behold, home to unique flora and fauna.

The white pond is really white! Especially when the sky is a little gray, and is reflected in it. To find yourself in absolute peace and quiet, accompanied by wild ducks, is a unique experience. You can’t walk around it, but you can get up close and admire it from various vantage points along the road that runs alongside it. Nautical activities are not permitted on our ponds, except with a boat over 3.50m.

The Etang blanc is really white when the grey sky reflects in the water. With friends or family you can rent a boat with paddles or a canoe to go on a fishing trip. Live a unique experience in the calm, with wild ducks.
The Etang noir is different. Its blackness comes from its depth which makes it more mysterious. Smaller, we visit it on a wooden footpath. You are in a protected area. Be quiet to not disturb its inhabitants : turtles, dragonflies, green woodpeckers, otters… You just have to weave in and out of reeds and ferns in a tropical atmosphere. Children will love this adventure.
