Our commitments to quality and CSR

Our commitments and labels

We are deeply committed to ensuring you have a warm welcome in Seignosse.

Committed to ensuring a high standard of service for our visitors, the Seignosse Tourist Office has been implementing quality assurance measures for several years now. We have been working on a daily basis to improve the quality of the welcome and services provided to visitors and tourism stakeholders in the area.

Our Tourist Office is classified as Category 1 (the highest level in the national ranking of French Tourist Offices).

Since 2025, we have held the DESTINATION D’EXCELLENCE accreditation (formerly Qualité Tourisme France, awarded in 2009 and renewed every five years).

Together with the local council of Seignosse, we are committed to a process of continuous improvement, aiming to deliver high-quality tourism based on listening to our visitors. As such, at every stage of your stay, your comments, suggestions and feedback are taken on board, and every year we implement improvements to our services, whether at the Tourist Office or at the local council level.

OUR VALUES
  • Being professional: because nothing beats expert advice from a local!
  • Listening: because the time we spend helping you isn’t on a tight schedule, and you’re unique!
  • Sharing: because it’s a pleasure to share our top tips with you, to chat and exchange ideas about your holiday,
  • Keeping it simple: because that’s just how we are in SEIGNOSSE! Warm, welcoming and caring. 🙂

In practical terms: whether remotely or in person, on our social media or at our reception desk at the Seignosse Tourist Office, you’ll be listened to, given the information you need and welcomed just as you deserve!

And for an even more personalised experience, we can create a Roadbook (our personalised holiday guide) for you, based entirely on your preferences and the information you’re looking for. A real companion on your mobile to ensure your stay in Seignosse is a success.

Holidays for everyone!

The development of inclusive tourism is a regional priority in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and the Seignosse Tourist Office has once again been awarded the ‘Tourisme et Handicap’ label for its visitor centre in 2026, covering all four types of disability: mobility, visual, hearing and intellectual.  This national label is currently the only certification dedicated to tourism accessibility for people with disabilities and is unique worldwide. It guarantees an efficient welcome tailored to the needs of people with disabilities.

Your feedback is very important to us!

Once you’ve finished your stay in Seignosse, we’d love to hear your feedback on what you liked or didn’t like so much about Seignosse, so that we can better meet your expectations and improve our services and the resort’s facilities.

Our environmental and social commitments:

Living in Seignosse means we are particularly mindful of preserving our natural resources, but we want to go further: our aim is to be an organisation deeply rooted in its local area and environment, working with our partners and the local council to make Seignosse a model town for sustainable tourism.

Our vision of sustainable tourism is that it should respect the local area and its residents, whilst also being a source of economic and social well-being for all. This is a grand vision, one that cannot be imposed, but which is gradually being realised over the years through all the initiatives carried out by our team, our partners and the local council of Seignosse.

Taking action on a day-to-day basis: the Tourist Office adheres to the Sustainable Territory Charter and minimises its environmental impact through eco-friendly practices (use of paper and digital resources, waste management, water and energy conservation, responsible procurement, minimising transport, etc.)

Having a loyal, committed team that values its working environment: through employee benefits, flexible working hours, continuous professional development and meaningful dialogue

Raising awareness among visitors: the Tourist Office is at the forefront of raising awareness among local residents and visitors to the town about responsible behaviour through the ‘Seignosse Attitude’ campaign. This takes the form of signage, print inserts, web pages, ‘slow’ experiences to enjoy during the spring and summer holidays, etc.

You too: embrace the Seignosse Attitude.

Training and supporting tourism professionals: to date, we are supporting 20 businesses in the town that have chosen to commit to eco-responsible schemes (Territoire Durable, European Ecolabel, Clé Verte). They are highlighted in our communications materials

Involving the local council: we’re working to retain the Blue Flag certification for our two main beaches, as well as the ‘Destination d’Excellence’ designation for all four of our beaches.
